The first week's coaching schedule for Fernando has been published on the club website here.

Please note that coaching starts on Tuesday and that there is Sunday coaching each weekend for certain groups.

The schedule for week 1 is fixed but the remaining weeks are subject to change in terms of times and groupings as required. However, we hope it provides a good indication for planning purposes.

The Annual Cobbler League will take place on over the four Sundays in October. Launching will be at 11am and entry is open to all Optimist Sailors in Munster who have competed during the year in at least one IODAI championship in the main fleet or the regatta fleet. It should be noted that National fleet allocations will be used rather than the local club system because of the participation of sailors from other clubs.

Our annual wine race is with us again. Excellent prizes sponsored by Ui Loingsigh Off Licence - 021 4822249. This is a fun race of approx 1 to 1.5hrs duration. This race is suitable for all boats - racing, cruising, whitesails etc. Shorthanded racing is now one of the growth areas within cruiser racing so why not come and give it a try. There is also a rumour of a glass of wine for all the crew of each boat that starts the race.
