RS FEVA CLASS AT THE ROYAL CORK FEBRUARY 2010 NEWSLETTER COACHING FEBRUARY MID-TERM The Class had a successful session, with 27 sailors on the water. SUNDAYS IN MARCH – 14th and 21st Andrew Lane is happy to take out a group for race training. Andrew sees these as ‘short, sharp’ sessions, 11am to 2pm, cost estimated at €20 a sailor, for the 2 days. This will only go ahead if sailors are keen, so please let me have names immediately. EASTER COACHING – 29TH, 30TH, 31ST MARCH Jonathan Lewis is coming over from the UK to join Andrew Lane. Cost estimated at €60 per sailor for the 3 days. It is a good opportunity for sailors to try out helm/crew combinations ahead of the season. The coaches will assist with this. ALL sailors are welcome, with or without a boat or experience! Please sign-up for this as early as possible. EVENTS ISA PATHWAY SCHULL Awaiting ISA clarification of the status of the class at this year’s event. CARNAC Search for event coach progressing. Any sailor looking for crew/helm for this event, please make contact so we can have as many as possible participating. RACING League racing will commence on the first Saturday in April. Cobh Sailing Club, (providing their own safety cover) will be joining us for the month of April, on a trial basis. NEW SAILORS We are keen to encourage new sailors to the class early in the season, so please spread the word!
