This morning (Sat) the competitors in La Coupe des TROIS Phares headed for Brest. They crossed the start line at the mouth of the harbour between the committee boat and the E4 mark under National Race Officer Richard Leonard assisted by RCYC Admiral Paddy McGlade.
This afternoon the competitors from La Coupe des TROIS Phares enjoyed magnificent racing in Cork Harbour. They were joined by Admiral Paddy McGlade and other club members who boarded individual boats acting as local knowledge and to enjoy the experience.
The first in the seven race series of the HM Yachts August/September League took place this evening (Thurs). The First Gun for the August races will be 18.50hrs each Thursday and 18.25hrs for the September races in order to allow for fading light.
The French Challenge Classique Atlantique (CCA) is a classic yacht regatta circuit created in 1998 by the Yacht Club Classique. The different events are co-ordinated by the YCC and organised in the same spirit by several yacht clubs of the atlantic and the channel coast between La Rochelle and Trebeurden.Race Notices
