SB3 TITLE HEADS NORTH
Peter Kennedy and Dave Cheyne RUYC took the SB3 title in the final day of racing at the National Championships to-day. Sean Craig RCtGYC was runner up and Ben Duncan HYC took 3rd place. Results are on the website and a full race report will follow from the Class.
Day Two of SB3 National Championships
Six races have been sailed to date at the SB3 National Championships sponsored by Laser Performance and the Matthews Centre. Conditions this morning started out with damp misty conditions and light airs. However, by this afternoon a northerly breeze had filled in and PRO Donal McClement got in four races for the day.
Laser SB3 National Championships get off in light airs
Light airs greeted the competitors at the commencement to-day of the three day national championship of the class. Racing with Flica as committee boat took place approximately a mile south of Roches Point in a light easterly breeze. Racing continues through to-morrow and Sunday. More pics on Bateman gallery
SB3 National Championship 2009 Preview
The Laser SB3 National Championship will be held in the Royal Cork Yacht Club from 18th – 20th September. A competitive fleet of 50 boats is expected from all over Ireland. Read more here

FINAL DAY OF SB3 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Peter O’Leary won the first of to-day’s (Fri) races in style at the Laser SB3 World Championship and finished eighth overall in the Gold Fleet.
