Calling all Motor Cruiser and RIB owners

As part of the “At Home” activities this weekend, a Treasure Hunt has been organised for all Motor Boats and Ribs on Sunday morning.

There will be a short briefing in the club bar at 11.30hrs and all boats are expected back at the club not later than 13.30hrs. A short quiz will wrap up proceedings with prizes being presented at 17.00hrs.

We would love to see as many Motor Boats and RIBS as possible taking part in this fun event – an added attraction will be the arrival of the “Independence of the Seas” Cruise ship into Cobh before lunchtime.

Motor Cruise in Company a great sucess!

Motor Cruise in Company a great sucess!

Fresh easterly winds saw last Sunday’s Motor Cruise in Company head upriver to Blackrock Castle and back to East Ferry rather than the planned run to Kinsale. Calling all Motorboats!

Calling all Motorboats!

Hot on the heels of last weekend’s very well attended berthing demonstration, your Motor Cruiser Captain, Brendan Cronin, has organised a “Cruise  in Company” to Kinsale this coming Sunday May 10th.

If last year’s run was anything to go by, this should be a great day out. Alan Barton & Darren McGrath of HM Yachts will provide instruction and assistance en route and finger food has been organised in Kinsale.

All boats should have returned to the club by 18.00hrs where the bar food menu will be on offer to round off the day. Members of the sailing fraternity will be welcome to join as crew and experience the delights of motor cruising.

Please phone Brendan on 087-255 1939 asap …
